Changes are coming soon to Kalispell’s CHS Mountain West building as new tenants prepare to move in.
The current CHS will move to the new Glacier Rail Park , according to Montana West Economic Development, while Berube Physical Therapy, Alpine Lighting, and an open office space will take up residence in the former lot next summer.
CHS provides various resources like propane for agricultural producers. The second floor of the new building will cater towards growing local businesses, by providing co-working spaces and small offices.
This is just one piece of the Core development plan to make Kalispell a more walkable town. The city also plans on adding a walking path as well as new restaurants to draw business to the downtown.
Officials also hope train tracks will be out of downtown Kalispell by 2020.
