Montana Grant Programs
USDA Rural Development
USDA Rural Development forges partnerships with rural communities, funding projects that bring housing, community facilities, business guarantees, utilities and other services to rural America. USDA provides technical assistance and financial backing for rural businesses and cooperatives to create quality jobs in rural areas.
State Trade Expansion Program
The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) is a Federal grant administered by Export Montana. Montana exporters can apply for 75% reimbursement up to $10,000 for eligible international marketing activities.
Tourism Grant Program
The Tourism Grant Program awards funds to projects that strengthen Montana’s economy through the development and enhancement of the State’s tourism and recreation industry. Funds are awarded annually to projects that develop and enhance tourism and recreation products that have the potential to increase non-resident visitation.

Incumbent Worker Training Program
Incumbent Worker Training Program is a grant funding resource, helping to off-set a portion of skills-based training costs for incumbent (existing) workers employed by Montana’s small business.
Work Opportunity Tax Credit Program
