Montana West Economic Development and MT APEX, formally PTAC, is pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting RT-130 training classes for our clients ahead of the upcoming fire season. We have held three previous sessions already this year, and this one will be our final session. These classes will be facilitated by Jim Maher. You will be required to show your current government issued ID (i.e. – driver’s license) when checking in for the workshop

Annual Fireline Refresher Training is designed to provide up to date fireline safety information to employees holding Incident Command System qualifications requiring this training per the PMS 310-1, Wildland Fire Qualification System Guide. The class contains four components: Entrapment Avoidance; Current Issues; Fire Shelter Training; and other hazards and Safety Issues. This course meets all requirements as identified in the Interagency Standards for Fire and Fire Aviation Operations (Red Book), Chapter 13.
