This session will invite you to reflect on your organization’s culture, history and mission and think about your trajectory as a nonprofit. Participants will learn about:
A framework to understand developmental life cycles of nonprofits
– Key “inflection points” most organizations will face
– Questions and considerations for each stage of development
– How to prepare people for organizational change and growth

Ned Cooney brings a unique combination of perspectives to his lectures, with experience as a grant-maker and grant-seeker; volunteer, staff, and board member in a variety of organizations; as well as an educator and consultant in organizational and academic settings. He is a former Board Chair of the Montana Nonprofit Association and has served as a member of MNA’s Nonprofit Public Policy Council since its start in 2006.
