The Daily Inter Lake is the Flathead Valley’s oldest manufacturer – founded all the back in 1889 – and has the largest independent newsroom in northwest Montana. This year, the Inter Lake was named the best newspaper in the state at the Montana Newspaper Association’s 139th annual convention. In addition to the Daily Inter Lake, they publish seven weeklies including Whitefish Pilot, Hungry Horse News, Bigfork Eagle, The Western News, Lake County Leader, Clark Fork Valley Press and Mineral Independent. The Daily Inter Lake team also creates and produces several audio and video podcasts, magazines, and serves as a commercial printing hub for several other newspaper companies and area businesses.
