Montana Consistently Rated as a Pro-Business State with Good Business Tax Climate

Montana’s economy continues to grow and is one of five states in the nation with no sales tax. Business Facilities magazine ranked Montana 6th in the nation for best overall tax climate for business in their 2008 State Rankings. The overall tax burden is 8.6%, well below the national average of 9.7%.

Incentives

There are a number of city, county, state and federal incentives, grants, and loan programs for businesses creating jobs in Flathead County.
