Stillwater LandingThe picturesque Flathead Valley inspires many acclaimed artists and creative minds, and is alive with things to do, see and hear.  With more than 2000 artists, our per capita number of talented artist and craftsmen far exceeds the national average and their efforts make up a significant part of our local economy.  Some well-known artists include Marshall Noice, Nancy Cawdrey, Brett Thume and Eric Thorsen.

The community and over one million visitors to the Valley each year support a variety of art and cultural events.   Theater, dance and live music enjoy enthusiastic audiences. From outdoor symphonies and concerts in the parks to intimate venues and clubs, the variety of entertainment choices is endless.
