Our
Our Investors
Montana West Economic Development activities are funded with three revenue streams. Approximately one-third of our funding comes from private businesses and organizations who recognize the importance of economic development to the health and vitality of the entire community. Montana West welcomes all types of involvement including large and small membership pledges and in-kind donations of products and services.
The benefits of an active economic development organization become obvious when a new or relocating business is welcomed to the community by an enthusiastic team with extensive resources and knowledge. With our investors’ support we are able to actively attract new industry and support high impact business with information, introductions, grant applications, gap finance loans and technical assistance. When businesses grow and better jobs are created, everyone benefits.
Our Funding
Montana West Economic Development depends on three streams of revenue to maintain its pro-business activities in the community:
Interest and Administration Fees on Loans made to growing businesses;
Funding from Flathead County Economic Development Authority for economic development and promotion of the county; and
Investment in the form of membership dues from private businesses and local organizations.
